Companies and business owners fire and lay off employees for various reasons. Sometimes it just can’t be helped. And while it sucks, it is their right to make personnel changes whenever and however they want (with exception to the law). But when people are fired from their jobs without notice, or with short notice, it can be extremely disruptive and damaging. So why can’t business owners try to give their employees more time to process bad news? In this episode I talk about the problem with firing employees without notice. And it definitely is a problem!
