In NYC, and probably other cities, there are now 24 hour school zones. I found this out the hard way! In my travels I got a ticket going through a school zone...on a Sunday! In this episode I talk a bit about that. While I get the reasons behind school zones, a 24 hour one doesn't make sense to me. If you have come across these areas, let me know what you think! There is a not so new thing out there called Unschooling. It's the idea that you only teach kids things they want to learn, or some version of that. I gotta tell you, that just doesn't sound like a great idea. There are a lot of things that kids can take the lead on, but their education might not be the one to choose. Recently in Barcelona there were protests against tourism. Yup, you heard that right! A city known for tourism had a protest against the thing that keeps it running! I recently witnessed something that caught my attention. A man giving advice to some teens. The amazing thing is, they were strangers to each other! In this day and age there are enough examples of bad behavior to go around. This is one time when someone took the time to try to give a positive message to some kids who probably needed to hear it. As most of you have heard by now, Former President Donald Trump was recently found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records. Now, I know this is a controversial issue. Recently one such story arrived about a man caught on Zoom driving a car while he was participating in his own court case for...wait for it...driving with a suspended license!
