So recently I found out that a credit card I was supposed to get in the mail was stolen. Worst it likely happened at the Post Office! Now, I know for some you may not care, but it is highly frustrating to not get something you were supposed to. Recently, there were two plane tragedies in the same week. One in DC and one in Philly. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and all those affected. It is hard to believe it, but even with this, air travel is relatively safe. What I do have a concern with, if that is the right term, is the way we consume this news. Pictures and videos and interviews pop up faster and faster. And we can't wait for more. Is that the problem when tragedy strikes? Or a necessary evil? There is a really bad trend happening at some airports. People are willing to do almost anything to get that all important preboarding designation. But it really seems to be crossing a line.  I recently saw the movie Wicked, and I definitely have thoughts! I am a big fan of the musical, so I wasn't sure that I would be happy with the big screen adaptation. With the recent death of baseball legend Pete Rose, there are some uncomfortable truths that arise. One is that he bet on baseball, a seemingly unforgiveable crime. Another is that he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments on the field, but may never get there. Recently a big indictment was revealed against NYC Mayor Eric Adams. He has seemingly been involved in some criminal activity and the Feds say it goes back to when he was a Borough President. I will never understand how politicians keep getting themselves into trouble! From Senator Menedez to Former President Trump in recent times, it seems that people in power will get there by any means necessary. Reality TV is getting a little more real this season. On Dancing With The Stars, a contestant named Anaa Delvey will be on the new cast. If you think her name is familiar, then you may also know that her real name is Anna Sorokin, and she is a convicted felon! She committed fraud and served time in prison. So why is she on DWTS? Good question! In this episode I talk about this and what I think, you might agree with me. But one thing is for sure, ABC will get great ratings!
